Your baking kit includes all the dried ingredients weighed out perfectly for you to get baking, however each kit requires some fresh ingredients like butter, yoghurt and eggs; items you can easily add to your regular shop. Your recipe card has all the details you need.
Yes, we offer standard free shipping in the UK which typically takes 3-5 days from order. Due to COVID-19 we are experiences longer delivery times. This is because of the continuous strain on the Royal Mail.

We know there is a demand for no plastic packaging and that compostable is perceived to be the answer. But the UK doesn’t have a consistent compostable waste stream for packaging and there is not enough scientific evidence that the compostable packaging available truly composts. In fact there are some scientists that say compostable packaging can cause more harm to the environment and we don’t want to cause any unintended consequences. We will keep ourselves educated in the most cutting-edge technologies and will make changes when we feel confident it is the right decision to make for the planet. However our pouches are made from a plastic that can be recycled with carrier bags at supermarkets. So do take them back to large supermarkets and recycle them. The plastic material keeps the dried goods in the boxes safe and protected from damage from external factors like germs, water and insects.
Currently, we only ship across the UK. We very much want to serve our Little Star Bakers all over the globe, but we need to make sure we can do it the way that makes sense for us, you and the planet.

Your baking kit should arrive approximately 3-5 days after placing your order. We send them via Royal Mail so your friendly neighbourhood postman will deliver it to you through your letterbox
At Little Box Bakery we are all big kids, so they can be enjoyed by all ages, however we have aimed them at 2-11 year olds.
We have labeled all our boxes and recipe cards with relevant allergens. None of our baking contain nuts, but they are packed in an environment that may contain nuts.
Buying more than one box? Easy put them in the basket.
The boxes will last 3 months, each box will have a best before date. However don’t forget that Best Before is about quality and not safety, so they will be safe to use after the date, just maybe not the perfect quality.
Each box and recipe card will tell you what equipment you will need, but you won’t need anything too technical. Just wooden spoons or hand mixers, saucepans, mixing bowls and a spatula, all common kitchen items
It depends on the age and ability of your child, each recipe card highlights where we think adults will need to help.
